How Sports Are Changing the Lives of Rural Youth in India

 The Power of a Playground

In many villages, children grow up without access to structured play or coaching. But when you introduce even a simple sports training program, magic begins.
Discipline, teamwork, and confidence take root — and suddenly, a child who had never worn shoes is now chasing dreams of a state or national title.

“I never thought I’d wear a jersey and represent my block,” says Sunita, a 16-year-old sprinter from our sports school in Haryana. “Now I practice daily and hope to get selected at the state level.”

Our Sports Schools & Academies

Bharat Kesari currently runs:

  • ✅ 3 Sports Schools across Haryana

  • ✅ 2 Training Centres for Wrestling & Kabaddi

  • ✅ 1 Academy focusing on Athletics & Martial Arts

Each child receives:

  • Daily training by certified coaches

  • Free nutrition and uniforms

  • Academic support along with sports

Beyond Sports: Building Character

We don't just train athletes — we build responsible citizens. Students are taught:

  • Respect for opponents

  • Handling victory and loss with grace

  • Leadership and discipline

These values stay with them for life — whether they become athletes, soldiers, or future leaders.

Celebrating Our Poster Boys & Girls

Our success stories include:

  • Ravi Dahiya, district-level gold medalist in wrestling

  • Kavita Malik, who qualified for state-level athletics

  • Vikas Yadav, selected for trials in the army due to his fitness and discipline

These young athletes are now role models for their peers — proof that with the right support, anything is possible.

Our Mission Ahead

We aim to expand our sports programs to more remote districts. We believe that every child — regardless of their background — deserves a chance to shine.

If you believe in the power of sports, join hands with us. Together, let’s build a future where no talent goes unnoticed.
